APRIL 2025: Acubed IT at the Cyber Physical Infrastructure Future Forum!
We were proud to take part in the ‘Cyber Physical Infrastructure: Future Forum’ hosted by Digital Catapult. The event marked an important moment in the National Cyber-Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) programme, which has been jointly led by Digital Catapult, Connected Places Catapult, and the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, with support from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).
Digital Catapult helps SMEs and larger organisations in the UK adopt new digital technologies, playing a key role in supporting innovation and driving digital transformation across different sectors. This invite-only forum brought together policy makers, industry leaders, and tech experts to share key outcomes from the NCPI programme and plan how to keep building and improving the UK's cyber-physical infrastructure.
Our very own Gaurav Joshi was part of the expert panel on Cyber Physical Living Labs, speaking alongside Stuart Reeks, Digital Development Lead at the RAF, and Harriet Hewett, Principal Scientist at Dstl. The session looked at how real-world testing environments, known as living labs, help drive innovation and build resilience by testing and scaling cyber-physical systems in places like defence, manufacturing, and public services. We discussed the future of secure data sharing in an increasingly converged digital landscape, touching on challenges and real-world use cases.
As technologies like digital twins, artificial intelligence (AI), immersive tech, and the Internet of Things (IoT) continue to converge, creating strong, secure ways to share data across organisations is more important than ever. We're proud to have been part of this conversation and look forward to working with others to shape the future of cyber-physical systems in the UK.
